CSC and Legacy enhancing support in times of need
In a boost for Australian Defence Force (ADF) Veterans and their families, CSC and Legacy Australia have signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen their support processes in times of loss and injury.

The two organisations have been working together since 2020 to reduce the cognitive burden on grieving families. This new MoU formalises the partnership, setting a clear framework for expansion and aiming to provide timely, consistent and compassionate support to ADF families by:
- streamlining communication between Legacy Advocacy Services and CSC Customer Teams to help families better understand their entitlements.
- improving service quality through biannual joint training and information-sharing initiatives.
CSC’s National Manager, Defence and Veterans Liaison, David Wilton, said the partnership places veteran families at the centre of services and decision-making in their times of need.
"ADF families can face significant vulnerability following the injury or loss of a loved one," David said.
“By formalising our collaboration with Legacy, we’re reinforcing our commitment to helping families feel supported, informed, and cared for, particularly during moments of deep stress and grief.”
Legacy Australia CEO, Graham Boyd, said the partnership reflects both organisations’ enduring mission to serve those who’ve served Australia.
“Legacy is proud to stand alongside CSC in delivering real, practical support to veterans’ families,” Graham said.
“By strengthening our collaboration, we can better ensure families dealing with grief, loss, and financial stress get the help they need quickly and compassionately.”
