You are eligible for retirement pay if made redundant on non-medical grounds with 20 years or more effective service or 15 years or more effective service and reached your retiring age for your rank. Your retirement pay will be paid fortnightly for the rest of your life (unless you re-entered before the 1st of July 2016), starting the day after you discharge from the ADF.
Those not eligible for retirement pay will receive a lump sum refund of contributions paid, plus a gratuity.
