New user request: Employer Services Online
Why use this form?
Use this form to request access to Employer Services Online (ESO) if you manage superannuation for employees, either for your agency or as a shared service provider.
Before you get started
ESO access is only available to approved users.
As part of your application, you’ll need to provide the name and contact details of your authorising officer. They’ll be notified once your request is submitted.
By submitting the form, you confirm that:
- your authorising officer has approved your request
- they’ve approved the level of access you’ve selected.
Requests without approval won’t be processed.
ESO access levels
There are 2 access levels available, depending on your role:
- Read-only access: Ideal for HR staff who need to check eligibility for CSC defined benefit products.
- Read/write access: Typically required for payroll staff, this level gives full access to ESO functions, including submitting pay files.
Both access levels include the ability to download member data reports.
Optional multi-factor authentication (MFA)
For added security, ESO offers optional multi-factor authentication (MFA) using your mobile phone. MFA helps protect your account and aligns with the Australian Signal’s Directorate (ASD) Essential Eight and APRA’s cyber security requirements.
If you enable MFA, it will be activated on the next business day (not immediately).
How MFA works
MFA adds an extra step to your login process. All new or existing ESO users can opt in.
To use MFA, you’ll need access to a mobile phone.
Enable MFA
New users: Select the MFA option when you complete the Access request form.
Existing users: Email us at [email protected] and include your:
- name
- user ID
- employer ID(s)
- a request to opt in to MFA.
What happens next?
Once we process your request, you’ll receive a confirmation email—generally by the next business day. After receiving this confirmation, MFA will be enabled and ready to use when you log in.
