CSC’s long standing commitment to building resilient investment portfolios has been recognised once again, taking out the 2026 Smooth Ride Award at the Super Fund of the Year Awards.
And this isn’t a one off. CSC also won the Smooth Ride Award in 2024 and was a finalist in 2025 — a consistent track record that speaks to the strength of our risk adjusted return strategy and our focus on helping members feel confident through different market cycles.
The Smooth Ride Award is presented to the fund that has best navigated market ups and downs while still delivering strong outcomes for members. A judging panel of academics, business leaders, entrepreneurs and innovators selected CSC for its ability to provide stability when it matters most.
CSC Chief Customer Officer Adam Nettheim recognised the CSC Investment Team for their discipline and long term focus that underpin CSC’s commitment to members.
“Strong results don’t happen by chance. They come from disciplined decision making, deep expertise, and a clear focus on our members’ long term financial wellbeing.”
“When markets shift, our responsibility is to provide confidence and stability. By staying true to our strategies, we’ve been able to deliver outcomes that matter.”
“Volatility is part of investing, but so is resilience. This recognition highlights the value of patience, consistency, and a commitment to navigating challenges with purpose.”
At CSC’s 2025 Annual Member Meeting, Chief Investment Officer Alison Tarditi expanded on the thinking behind CSC’s approach — one designed to help members stay on track even when the world feels uncertain.
“Uncertainty is not a bug in the system of our era. It's a constant feature we can actually plan for, preparing your portfolios to navigate a wide range of possibilities rather than anchoring them and their success to a central prediction.”
Independent assessments show the impact of this approach. CSC’s investment options continue to lead peers on a risk adjusted, long-term basis , supporting strong outcomes for members.
