Learning and listening: CSC’s first Financial Adviser Education Day
Local financial advisers gathered at CSC’s Canberra office to boost their knowledge of our schemes and share their insights with fund experts at the Advice Partnerships Team’s pilot Financial Adviser Education Day in May.

This event aimed to strengthen partnerships with advice practice staff who look after CSC members and increase their understanding of the intricacies of the defined benefit schemes and to deepen their understanding of CSC’s investment approach. At the same time, the team were keen to test the format, sessions and locations to inform potential events in the future.
Adviser Relationship Manager Matthew Floros, Employer Relationship Manager Bree Joseph, and Investments Manager Anne Lee delivered insightful and interactive sessions that addressed common questions asked of the Advice Partnerships Team, and which led to valuable discussions between presenters and attendees. The aim was to empower advisers to have more confidence in CSC products and investments, and to help them become more confident in navigating the complexities of the schemes, with an added bonus of recognised CPD hours.
