Mr. Gonzalez brings more than 35 years of investment management expertise to the Board, spanning Australia and international markets. His deep proficiency in financial services and strategy stems from a distinguished career at Perpetual Investment Management and Pendal Group Ltd. He served as Chief Executive Officer from 2010 to 2021 at Pendal Group where he spearheaded global strategy, finance, operations, funds management, distribution, and acquisitions.
Currently, Mr. Gonzalez is a non-executive director at DNR Capital and Big Blue Ocean Investments—a family office—and serves on the Board of the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra Foundation. Previously, he was an independent Director on the Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC) Board and Chairman of the Governors at the CFA Institute.
Mr. Gonzalez holds a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Economics) from the University of Wollongong, is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and earned a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from the Securities Institute of Australia.
