I’m a beneficiary

Nominating beneficiaries for your super is important. Learn more about what happens when your dependents nominated you as their beneficiary.

A CSCri member can nominate one or more dependents and/or a legal personal representative to be their beneficiary or beneficiaries.

If you’ve been nominated as a binding beneficiary, and this nomination is still valid and has not expired, the trustee of CSCri, CSC, is generally required to pay a death benefit to you.

If you’ve been nominated as a non-binding or reversionary beneficiary, CSC will use this nomination as a guide when making the final decision as to whom the benefit is paid. You can contact us and we’ll help you through the process.
