We're here to help

There are ways we can help you and your employees with superannuation matters during the redundancy process. If you’re considering a redundancy process, we encourage you to chat to your CSC Relationship Manager early. If you’re unsure who your Relationship Manager is, call our Employer Service Desk on 1300 338 240 so we can put you in touch with the right person.

Your Relationship Manager can help you obtain benefit estimates for your employees, and can talk to you about the support available to your employees throughout the redundancy process. They can also arrange presentations about redundancies and super at your workplace. 

Looking for estimates?

Most CSS and PSS customers will need a written redundancy estimate before we can process their application form, if a redundancy is accepted.

You can request written redundancy estimates using our redundancy benefit estimate request form. If you need to request estimates for a number of employees, you can use our bulk request spreadsheet instead.

Estimate requests need to be sent to formsandapplications@csc.gov.au for actioning. Members aren't able to request written redundancy estimates from us, but they can use our online tool, iEstimator, to produce an estimate based on their most recent member statement. We would rather provide them with a written estimate though so they have the most accurate information at hand.

Ready to finalise the process?

If an employee has accepted a redundancy and wishes to claim their benefit, they’ll need to complete the appropriate benefit application form and send it to your payroll area. Your payroll area then needs to complete the departmental report and send the form to formsandapplications@csc.gov.au for processing. We’ll get in touch if there’s anything further we need from you to process your employee’s benefit.

Our financial advisors are here to help

Redundancy is a significant life event. We understand this, and offer our members all the support we can. CSC Customers can access financial advice through CSC’s authorised* financial planners.

Once a member has a redundancy benefit estimate, they can make an appointment with a planner on 1300 277 777. We have more information about our financial advice service on the CSC website.
