Who we are
We are the Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation (CSC).
Our purpose is to help past, present and future Australian Government employees, members of the Australian Defence Forces and their families make the most of their financial future.
We do this through the disciplined and active investment of our Schemes through a pooled investment trust. We aim for competitive returns and costs through disciplined investment frameworks.
We also provide information and general advice to help our members develop the knowledge and skills they want to manage their super with confidence. We aim to make being informed easy by bringing information to members at their place of work, through educational workshops, one on one information sessions, online services, phone and email plus a range of support services for their employers.
Strong foundations
Our Schemes are set up solely to meet the superannuation needs of Australian Government employees and members of the Australian Defence Forces.
Our organisation represents over 30 years experience, which means we understand members’ employment conditions and share their dedication to the value of community and service.
We are appointed by the Australian Government to ‘maximise members’ benefits’ and ‘act in members’ best interests’ – responsibilities which are protected by law.
Management of our business is aligned with Australian Government best-practice corporate governance principles.
We share the values of our members and other stakeholders
We value our legislated responsibilities as outlined in the Governance of Australian Government Superannuation Schemes Act 2011.
We build trust through collaboration, stewardship, cleverness, integrity, courage and community.
